So today is my first day on the Body Trim diet & day 1 of 3 with only eating protein. So far it’s not as bad as it could be, I do have an ongoing headache from not eating any carbs or sugar today, but it’s bearable & the water helps with the headaches. I have noticed i’m still hungry between meals & snacks but that’s mainly because I’m used to eating such larger portions of food. The only thing I am having trouble with is the lack of energy, I feel so wiped out as if I hadn’t eaten anything all day.
Still these are minor issues and it’s only for another 2 days & then I can start adding carbs & starchy foods to my eating plan. Until then i’ll be eating meat, meat & more meat… oh plus eggs & protein bars.
My Aim/goal is to get down to around 62kg by Big Day Out next year, that’s 16 weeks away & I have 30kg to loose. They say that visual inspiration is a great motivator so I’m shopping around for a vintage style dress to wear to BDO in a size 12. Fingers crossed I can fit it well, I havent been within the 60kg-70kg weight range since I was about 15 or so, i’m excited but extremely nervous as I have been known to be a bit of a quitter sometimes. But i’m doing this for me, and for my sister so that’s great motivation to stick with it right there. I’m not doing this just so I can wear a dress to a music festival, i’m doing it so I can be healthier and also my biggest reason & motivation to do this is because my big sister has early stages of Kidney failure. In order to be a kidney donor I need to be fairly fit and healthy. So yeah helping to keep my sister healthy and alive may be the motivation I need when I’m feeling down & out, when I feel like I just want to give up.
